Agreement Between Valdebebas And The City Of Madrid 29/01/2010
This week the Valdebebas Owners’ Management Board signed an agreement with the City of Madrid to develop the area reserved for the droving road and to channel the Valdebebas stream.
The authorized agreement establishes the City of Madrid as the entity charged with carrying out the works, while the Valdebebas Owners’ Management Board will assume the associated costs, projected at 4.6 million euro.
“Due to the fact that these areas form part of overall green spaces planted and maintained by the City, it is convenient, both environmentally and from the point of view of the construction of the future park, that these works be carried out by the City, since they will constitute a part of this great green lung,” explained Vice mayor Manuel Cobo during the press conference.
