Due to the recent media attention and advertisements, as well as questions fielded by the Call Centre regarding the sale of homes and/or offices in Valdebebas, the Compensation Board would like to make the following announcement: NOTE ON COOPERATIVES The Reparcelization Project, which is the legal means by which redistributed plots are allocated to cooperatives and/or land owners, is currently awaiting approval by the City Hall of Madrid. The expected date for approval is mid-2009. Consequently, no land cooperative will be permitted to develop or build on the resulting plots until City Hall has given its definitive approval of the allocation of said plots, without detriment to any urban planning licenses that may be granted. In order to avoid any confusion that may arise and to give interested parties the option to stay informed about current developments at Valdebebas, the Compensation Board offers access to the following information sources.
