The Valdebebas reparcelization project was internally
approved by the General Assembly on 30 June 2008
The reparcelization project is a legal city planning instrument with the basic
objective of distributing profits and charges among all Valdebebas landowners.
This instrument transforms the properties provided by the different owners
into plots of lands that are designed and developed according to city planning
in force. In this way, the properties contributed will legally disappear
and they will be adjudicated to the landowners in proportion to the square
meters provided or, stated differently, in proportion to their rights.
The Valdebebas reparcelization project was internally approved by the General
Assembly on 30 June 2008. It was subsequently presented to the City Council
of Madrid for processing and is presently awaiting final approval.
The reparcelization procedure is regulated by the Community of Madrid Land
Act, as follows in Article 88:
- Submission for public information for a minimum period of twenty days
- Allegation response period
- Approval within a maximum period of two months from the presentation date
of all required documentation
